When we returned home, I had some time to take advantage of the bright sun...finally, for about two hours.
Before I knew it, it was time to go back to my place, shower, change, and get back to their condo for Easter dinner. Patsy and Mya live on the 2nd floor, Vinny and Mickey live on the 7th and their daughter, a CPA, Ann Marie, lives on the 16th.

Dinner was great. Penne pasta with "gravy" was the first course with garlic bread. Next, if you wanted, there was ham, sweet potatoes or white potatoes or meatballs, sausage (both plain and hot), bracciole, and a pork roll. Mickey had prepared it all the day before and was a pro at getting all together and making it smell delicious. One disappointing thing was she didn't add any garlic to anything because of Vinny's dislike or allergy to it. She also make the desserts including a devil's food cake with chocolate icing and coconut in the shape of a lamb.

Well to make a long story short, after we finished this very typical Italian dinner complete with espresso, tea, or coffee and dessert....we sat around the table talking AND when Ann Marie's friend, Ben, stopped by along with Louie's son, Bobby, they were hungry again at 8;30, so out came the goodies once again. Since no one ate the ham this afternoon, that was the main course for this second meal. Just the three fellas ate.
