Instead, after grabbing a bite of breakfast downstairs, I met Mya and walked north for about 1.2 miles before turning around and heading back....that was stretch for a 'first time' but what I need to do daily and today is the first day of that activity. After that, I hung out at the motel after picking up a grilled chicken salad at Denny’s. Didn’t want to eat heavy anticipating a Romanian style dinner later that evening. Oana, Lucian's girlfriend, spent at least two hours in the kitchen preparing everything for tonight’s meal from scratch. Tonight there would be ten of us at the table.

First there was soup made with rice, shredded carrots, parsley, parsley root, chunks of chicken, garlic, a bit of lemon, egg yolks, and sour cream.
Next was a baked dish containing cauliflower which she boiled first, then pureed with cheese, eggs, and rice and baked to a golden brown.
Finally, the polenta dish was unique. Made with layers of polenta and any kind of cheese (tonight mozzarella), and low fat yogurt. This was then baked.

Lucian showed his appreciation for "his favorite" meal prepared by his favorite girl...just like home and we got to enjoy it as well.
